Unleashing Creativity

Welcome.  I thought I would let you know a little bit about myself.

I have always loved creating things.  I have experimented with many mediums and taken classes in everything from pencil and ink drawings, acrylic paint, pottery and ceramics but nothing has held my attention like working with Paverpol and making sculptures.

I started attending classes several years ago and now that I have retired from my real world job I find myself spending more time creating the things that pop into my head.  Many of my creations are multi medium adventures.  However, the primary medium is always Paverpol.

So what is Paverpol?  Paverpol is a non toxic hardener primarily designed for natural fiber fabric but also adheres to numerous other natural materials such as paper, chamois leather, self hardening clay to name a few.

When I create I always try to recycle material if possible for example the bodies of many of my creations are made from scrap wire, plastic grocery bags and wrapped in old cotton t-shirts.  I am always looking for ways to upcycle things into my sculptures.

I would encourage anyone to try a class just for the fun of it and bring a friend for moral support it you are nervous about unleashing your inner creativity.  Remember the beauty of any art is in the eyes of the beholder.

If you would like more information about Paverpol you can find it at Paverpol.ca
